Beaujolais is a French cherry-coloured wine generally made of the Gamay grape. Beaujolais tends to be a very light-bodied red wine, with relatively high amounts of acidity.

This dry red wine is made from the namesake workhorse grape. This deep ruby red recalls plums, red cherries and liquorice on the nose. With clean tannins in the mouth, it comes across as full and vigorous.

This wine made from Nero d'Avola grapes offers layered notes of cherry, mulberry and raspberry. On the palate, it is supple, with ripe berry flavours framed by silky tannins.

The red wine known as Valpolicella is typically made from three grape varietals: Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, and Molinara. Most Valpolicellas are light, fragrant wines in flavour.

A medium-bodied, ruby red wine. As always, this Chianti too presents a vinous nose, with floral, fruity and spicy scents with a taste of wild cherry and hazelnuts in the end.
