Gavi del Comune di Gavi , Fontanafredda (Piedmont, Italy)
One of Italy's most fashionable whites, it is known for acute dryness and fresh, flinty acidity. It has a full, delicate, elegant, lemony nose and an attractively young, dry, fresh and well-balanced palate.
The traditional Garganega grape is blended with Trebbiano grapes harvested from the Classico sub-region. This wine is dry with soft acidity and tastes rounded of pear, melon and almond.
